• Arrive 5 minutes early prior to your service. (Allocate time for traffic and parking)

• You must arrive alone for your service. (no exceptions)

• Avoid alcohol and caffeine: Don't consume alcohol or caffeine, including coffee, tea, energy drinks, and a heavy-workout 24 hours before your appointment.

• Eat before your appointment: Eat something to keep your blood sugar stable during the procedure.

• Please allow a solid 3 and a half hour window for your appointment.

  This is not something that can be rushed.

• Bring inspiration photos: Bring photos to show your artist what you're looking for.

• Wash your hair: Wash your hair the day before your appointment.

• Do exfoliate the eyebrow one day prior to the appointment. recommend using a scrub

• Avoid brow treatments: Don't wax, thread, or pluck your eyebrows for at least one week before your appointment.

• Avoid certain skincare products: Don't use products with retinol, alpha hydroxy acid, salicylic acid, glycolic acid, vitamins C for 1 week before your appointment.

• Avoid blood thinners: Stop taking blood thinners, like aspirin, ibuprofen, and fish oil supplements, at least 72 hours before your appointment. You can consult your doctor if you have concerns.

  Avoid sun exposure: Make sure your face isn't sunburnt.

• Avoid antibiotics: Finish your antibiotic course before getting your tattoo.

• No micro needling 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after your service.

• No chemical peels 60 days before and 60 days after your tattoo.

• No Botox, or Fillers 4 weeks before your appointment.

• Planning a holiday, Allow your brows 2 weeks to heal before jetting off on your vacation.

Aftercare for your new tattoo

Proper aftercare is crucial to ensure the best healing and longevity of your Brow Tattoo. Here are some general Brow Tattoo aftercare instructions to follow:

• Keep the Area Clean: Gently cleanse the tattooed area with a mild, fragrance-free cleanser and lukewarm water. Use a damp Q-tip to softly clean the area and PAT it dry with a clean, soft cloth.

• Apply an Aftercare Ointment: Use the aftercare lotion provided by your tattoo artist or recommended by them. Apply a thin layer of the treatment to the tattooed eyebrows several times a day to keep the area moisturized and promote healing.

• Avoid Water Exposure: In the first week, avoid exposing the tattooed area to excessive water. This includes swimming, hot tubs, saunas, and prolonged showers. Moisture can affect the healing process and the pigment’s retention. No Hot Water

• No Touching or Picking: Refrain from touching, picking, or scratching the tattooed area. This can introduce bacteria and disrupt the healing process, leading to potential infections or uneven healing.

• Avoid Makeup: Avoid using makeup, lotions, and creams on or around the tattooed area during the initial healing period.

• Avoid Vitamin C, any form of Retinol, alpha hydroxy acids, salicylic acids, glycolic acid, facial laser treatments, hydroquinone, whitening products,

• Avoid vaseline, petroleum and coconut oil.

• Avoid swimming pools.

• Do apply Mineral Sun protection. Mineral sun protection is a type of sunscreen that uses natural minerals, primarily zinc oxide and titanium dioxide

• Stay Away from Sun Exposure: Protect your tattooed eyebrows from direct sunlight and tanning beds, as UV rays can fade the pigment and cause irritation. If you need to go out in the sun, use a wide-brimmed hat or apply a gentle sunscreen after the initial healing period.

• Avoid Intense Physical Activities: For the first week, avoid activities that cause excessive sweating, as sweat can interfere with the healing process and affect color retention.

• Let Scabs Naturally Shed: It’s normal for small scabs to form as part of the healing process. Let them shed naturally; do not pick at or force them off. There will be very little scabbing.

• Avoid Makeup and Skincare Products: Steer clear of using any makeup or skincare products directly on the tattooed area until it’s fully healed. continue to use the recommended follow up treatment.

• Follow Your Artist’s Recommendations: Every artist might have slight variations in their aftercare instructions. Follow the specific guidelines provided by your tattoo artist for the best results.

• Attend Follow-Up Appointments. Attend this appointment to allow your artist to assess the healing. This process boosts pigment, fuller more defined brows, fills in color gaps.

Healing Expectations

The Realistic Stroke Tattoo typically goes through several stages of healing, and it can take up to 5 weeks for the final color to appear:

Stage 1 : The inflammatory stage, when your Brows may be red, swollen, tender, and may have lymph fluid,

Stage 2 : The scabbing stage, when scabs form over the tattooed area. Continue to moisturize with treatment provided.

Stage 3 : The peeling stage, when the scabs start to fall off, revealing a lighter version of the tattoo

Stage 4 : The final healing stage, when the scabs should be gone and the skin healed, but the ink may still appear faded or patchy. Also know as the Ghosting stage. The Color will return. Not everyone will experience the same healing process.
